About

I’m Elena, an artist with a deep love for the animals we share this planet with. I have grown up in the British countryside, surrounded by the nature that calls it home, which I will always love and appreciate so much. I also adored watching nature documentaries since I was young, from Steve Backshall’s “Deadly 60” to David Attenborough’s “Our Planet”. Conservation of wildlife and the habitats they call home is something I deeply care about, and I hope that you do too!

Over time, I realised that maybe my art could be more than something to look at. It could be a voice for the voiceless and help to make a change.

My art has always been mainly focused on animals, and I would love to stretch my abilities as an artist to illustrate and paint more wildlife, especially the animals that are misunderstood, unseen, or threatened. With every piece I create, I want to celebrate their beauty, share their stories, and inspire more connection to the nature around us.

This is why I created Project Fauna, a snail mail club and a community where creativity and conservation go side by side. Through Project Fauna, my prints, and my art projects, I will donate a portion of proceeds to selected charities each year. So that, together, we’re not just admiring wildlife, we’re helping to protect it.

If you’re someone who loves my art and wants to be part of something positive, you’re in the right place. Thank you for supporting my work, for caring about our planet, and for standing with me to protect what’s irreplaceable.

Art can make a difference.
